History: Harp was born as Luke Échappé was brought up by his mother in a rich family after his father left the home and never returned when Harp was one. Harp had two older brothers, Adam and Crispin, who were both talented and well-respected. Harp, however, was born a tiny underweighted child with two different shaded pink eyes, blue hair, and strange tattoo like markings all over his arms and legs, and his mother tried to keep him away from others as much as possibly. She would often get drunk and physically abuse all the children, but would particularly pick on Harp since he was the most defenseless. She couldn't take him anymore, so when he was four she dumped him on the side of the streets. Growing up in the alleys, Harp lived for about a year until he was found by a man named Axl. Harp comes to love Axl as a father, and the two go through their fair share of interesting adventures. However, when things begin to start going nicely, Axl is forced (Yes, FORCED, he's not a heartless jerk >.< into leaving Harp at age 13, and Harp finds himself alone again. He joins the circus for 2 years only to find hatred and despair (especially towards his Ring Master, Leon...who, in his own way tries to care for Harp but doesn't do so well at it)...this is when he is approached by the trickster God, Loki, and he of course tricks Harp into making a "deal" with him. Harp makes a wish to not be lonely anymore, and Loki claims to grant it, although a lie, and instead heaves his cursed Alter Ego, the Phantom Joker, onto Harp. As he travels, however, he does find friends, particularly an assassin named Sorrow, an alchemist named Zephyr, and a pirate named Chance. (which eventually leads to finding other peoplez, too, and the dissapointing return of his Ring Master XD)

Special Abilities:
Control Over the Weather--His particular favorite is control over electricity, though he cannot use it through air, he needs some sort of object for it to run through (this is why he often uses ropes!)
He can also create rain (helpful for the lightning attacks!), wind, and like...intense cyclone storms. XD

Personality:
Light Side: Harp's light side is generally sweet and shy, and will try to resolve things peacefully. However, when he is with one of the members of his traveling crew, the alchemist Zephyr, he'll get competitive and quite mouthy. Harp doubts himself often, but pushes himself to keep going and never gives in. He can also be a goof sometimes, since he used to be part of the circus and he loves making people smile. Though he's usually nice, when it comes to competitions of any kind he refuses to lose!
Dark Side: Harp's dark side is more aggressive and conceited. He has a bad temper, is a loud mouth, and has a very colorful vocabulary. He loves flirting with girls and enjoys laughing at others' pain. In short, he's the exact opposite of Harp except in the way that they both hate losing and will never give up.

Background on the story: This takes place in a fictional version of our 19th century, so...mid-late 1800s. I'd classify as "steampunk" though, cuz they have a lot of inventions and things that didn't really exist back then. So...I'm basically telling you this because having blue hair in this story is not normal, like in many anime XD
