OTAKON
WOW.
This was super fun! Saturday my cousin, my sister and I went as Ouran High School Host Club. I went as Tamaki, my cousin as Honey, and my sister as Haruhi<3 Around 20 people took pics of us, and we talked to some peeps and had a lot of fun!! The first day I bought a Death Note t-shirt, and it's SEXY. *ahem* Anyway, the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alleys were HUGE and epic. I fell down the stairs twice due to the lack of moving escalators and the fact that under my long pants I was hiding 3 1/2 inch high heels. Uh...we went to the Masquerade, and it was HYSTERICAL. It was really great, I loved the skit "Purgatory" and "Oozinator" and the Link that played the Zelda music was great. I missed the ending though. >.< So...if someone could tell me who won that'd be great XDD Um...yeah. That's about it for day one, other than the fact that my feet killed and I pushed my sister out of the way to sit next to a Luke (Tales of the Abyss) at the Masquerade XDDD
On the second day we went as D.Gray-Man...I was Allen, my sister Lenalee, and my cousin Miranda. So. We got a lot more pics taken, and we got a group D.Gray-Man shot after the fan-run D.Gray-Man panel. The hosts were supposed to be the five generals and they were so funnnnny XD I loved Cross. There was an awesome Krory, too, and we took quite a few pics with him<3 The third costume Lenalee was really good, too, and so was one of the Rhodes. Anyway...I bought a little D.Gray-Man Allen keychain(?) and D.Gray-Man stickers. I wish I could buy more but I has no moneyz. We later went out to a store that had blocks of letters and I spelt out and left there "I can has Lawliet" but that's another story. SO. We didn't do much on Saturday, we chilled with some people for a little, checked out more art...etc. It was fun, though I have no epic stories to tell like the stealing of me that occured at Connecticon. Though some guy asked me to explain D.Gray-Man to him and I failed...epic-ly. And some old guy asked for a pic of me drinking my Starbucks...0.o SUGGESTIVE. (PEDO. Hopefully not.) It was a lot of fun! I hope I can go again :3
On another note, I may be going to Anime Boston, too ^_^

I bought Death Note: Another Note--The Los Angeles BB Murder Case and it was epic win. EPIC. Win.

CONNECTICON
DAY 1

OMG.
I went to Connecticon today, 1/2 the day as Allen Walker from D.Gray-Man in the second costume and 1/2 the day as L from Death Note and it was EPIC. My friend and I went (she was Kanda and Light)and we were handcuffed w/ six foot handcuffs the whole time and everyone loved us<3 (We are going again tomorrow with as Lavi from D.Gray-Man, as Ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew Mew in the maid costume, and as L from Death Note. It will be epic.
But anyway, back to today. We met some other D.Gray-Man cosplayers, and they were real fun<3 We met an awesome pair of twins cosplaying Komui and Lenalee ( and hung on with them a lot of the time. There were more D.Gray-Man cosplayers than I expected! There were 3 other Allens, 3 Lenalees, 2 Rhodes, a Lavi, and a Miranda. Tomorrow there will be 2 more Lavis, too X3 My 3 1/2 inch heels started to kill though, so that's why we changed to the more comfortable Death Note costumes. But our D.Gray-Man ones owned like everything<3333
On another note, there were many less Naruto/Bleach/Death Note cosplayers which overpopulated last year, and the ones that did cosplay them were all pretty good this year. One tall skinny guy cosplayed Ryuk and I LOVED him<3 There was a Ichimaru Gin I loved, too, and it was awesome!! A Kenpachi tried to abduct me when I was L but I was chained to Light XD And then another guy wanted to take me but I told him I was chained to Light so he tried to take Light away XDDD We also happened to do the Motekke! Sailor Fuku dance with a Sweeney Todd, which there were a few of X3 Anyway, Mikami from Death Note like raped my Light, but we're not going to discuss that. Also I snuck by security barefoot today even though you need shoes. XD I'm THAT SKILLED.
There was an awesome pair of Kaiba and Mokuba, and a funny Ryou Bakura that had a sign that said "Sorry ladies I'm gay." XDDD And there were two AMAZING Yugi cosplayers, and they used their real hair. EPIC WIN. There were lots of Gurren Langan people, a few Vampire Knight ones, some Soul Eater ones, a few Fullmetal Alchemist, some Zelda ones, some Ouran High School, Final Fantasy, lots of Avatar, a bunch of people dressed as the Joker (only one really impressed me with the makeup and hair though) and some other stuff I forgot XD But they were awesome. And there were lots of cute Lolitas<3 I'm going tomorrow, too...so yeah. Expect another long boring report X3

DAY 2

Yay! Day 2! Sorry for the flood of journals and lack of art >.< Anyway. Twas epic. Lavi had his epic giant hammer and we met another really cool Lavi there :3 We watched the cosplay chess and cheered for Lavi and Lenalee (Komui made a guest appearance, too XD) but I also had a soft spot for Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd on the other team. Lenalee was one of the last standing pieces, and her team won ;3 It was fun. Even though our Ichigo wasn't with our group, she looked awesome too. She did the cafe outfit and it was cute, she even brought a tray! ^_^
We took group pics, too, and there were 2 Rhode's today and we met up w/ Lenalee and Komui again cuz they were plain awesome. We also stuck around an adorable Near and Mikami (and their cool oshare-kei friend :3) My feet kill but the costumes were awesome so it was worth it. We'll put them on our cosplay account and we'll take more pics later... (Look below for that.) We didn't get any at the con, though, which sucks >.< Other people took pics, though XD I exchanged e-mails and DAs w/ a few and hope to see Lenalee and Komui at Boston, cuz I'm hoping to go there, too.
Anyway...I bought a Death Note but I'm saving the rest for Otakon...anyway, after we went to a grocery store where you can eat too(they have like a cafeteria and stuff) and people looked at us. It was epic win XD I loved my shiny soft white wig and killer 3 1/2 inch heels :3 I also wore a random hat today that reminded me of Allen and carried around giant cards that made a royal flush XD Yay for Allen and his evil poker side!!! Well...can't wait for next weekend! This one sure was fun with my homies :3(Otakon)
